Trademarks are used in identifying and distinguishing a product, service, program, or company. Trademarks can take the form of letters and words, logos, pictures, a combination of words and a logo, slogans, colors, product shapes, and sound. A trademark owner has exclusive rights to use its trademarks in connection with its products or services and is obligated to prevent others from using its trademarks inappropriately.

It is Crossroads policy to enforce its trademark rights against any third-party infringer. Crossroads maintains a portfolio of trademarks. To ensure you do not infringe on any Crossroads trademarks, please avoid the following.

• Do not use a Crossroads trademark in a manner that is likely to show or imply either an affiliation with Crossroads or an endorsement by Crossroads including but not limited to specific companies, products, services, or materials without permission of Crossroads.
• Do not use Crossroads logo or any other Crossroads logo in any materials that you create independently without the permission of Crossroads.
• Do not use Crossroads trademark in a manner that is likely to confuse the public about the origin of products, services, materials, or programs.
• Do not use a mark similar enough to a Crossroads mark that it could be confused with Crossroads trademark.
• Do not alter, adapt, modify, animate any Crossroads trademarks in any manner without written permission. Examples of what not to do include shortening a trademark to an initial (Crossroads to CR) in an acronym, hyphenating a trademark with another prefix or word (Crossroads-initiated), or using a slash mark with any trademark (Crossroads/XYZCo).
• Do not use the Crossroads name, logo, symbols, or icons on or in connection with products, packaging, manuals, promotional or advertising materials, or Web sites for any purpose except pursuant to an express written trademark license from Crossroads.
• Crossroads trademarks may identify specific products, product features, services or other purposes. Do not refer to applications or instructions, services or otherwise in an incorrect manner.
